Once Reviled Record Label Now Nearly Last One Standing
At one time, saying the name Naxos Records around other record company promoters caused a bit of a sneer to cross their lips.
“Naxos Records is ruining the recording industry,” one might say. Â ”I don’t recognize any of the orchestras they use,” says another.
Now, with over 7,000 recordings in their catalog, Naxos is a thriving business, while many of those naysayers no longer exist.
