Young Artists Play Chopin For Earthquake Relief
Ten of the brightest young pianists from seven countries and four continents have joined together to create the first global internet performance by young artists to raise donations for earthquake relief.
This video project was started at the grassroots level by a 4th grader and his family in New Jersey to raise funds for Haiti, which now has been expanded to include Chile.
Yesterday (March 1) on the 200th anniversary of Frederic Chopin‘s birth, the “Young Artists for Haiti” released this YouTube video performing the Chopin Nocturne in C# Minor together – virtually – as well as their website. The American Red Cross has set up a special page to accept donations through this international collaboration.
What a beautiful world we have with these children in it.
