Columbus State Community College will host its 26th Taste the Future on Tuesday, August 12 from 6-9pm on the Columbus State downtown campus.
The Taste will feature food from 50 of Columbus’ top restaurants, clubs, and caterers, including Barcelona, Chef Henry Butcher’s Creole Cuisine, G Michael’s Bistro, Hae-Paul’s Korean American Kitchen, Hubbard Grille, Lindey’s, Matt the Miller’s Tavern, Mezzo, Plate, The Refectory, Tucci’s, and Cameron Mitchell and, of course, some adult beverages, including special treats from Middle West Spirits. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend this popular event, which highlights the Columbus State Hospitality and Chef-Apprentice programs.
The Taste the Future will honor three alumni of the Columbus State culinary program: Jonathan Basch, Executive Chef, Hudson 29 Kitchen + Drink; Curtis Duffy, Chef/Owner, Grace Restaurant, Chicago; and Joshua Wickham, Executive Chef, Rocky Fork Hunt & Country Club.
