Who could pass up the chance to taste the food from 48 of Central Ohio’s top restaurants, with beer wine, and spirits, all in one night?
Taste of Dine Originals is one of the great food & wine events in Central Ohio, even Ohio. Chefs and owners of 48 area restaurants are there to greet you and offer tastes of some of their signature dishes and you can chat with them while you are eating.
Where else can you graze on tasty treats like:
- Shrimp and grits with Andouille sausage and country ham
- Pan roasted sea scallops over crispy potato & scallion hash with sweet corn emulsion
- Potted duck confit and corn
- House made goat cheese and spiced sweet potato in fried won ton, rustic cranberry chutney; and
- Limoncello mousse tartlets with candied lemon zest
The 2014 “Taste of Dine Originals” will take place on Thursday, May 15 from 6 – 9 pm at the Capital University Fieldhouse, 670 Pleasant Ridge Avenue in Bexley. There is plenty of parking nearby.
“Taste of Dine Originals” is an annual event featuring tastings and samplings from the 48 Dine Originals member restaurants, wines from 30 vineyards, and tastes from three craft breweries and local micro distilleries. Chefs, brew masters, and winery representatives showcase some of their signature dishes.
Patrons receive a wine glass upon entry and then graze among the wide array of food and wine booths.
The $100 admission fee offers unlimited food tasting and beverage samples.
