John Dornback, the chef and co-owner of Basi Italia will appear on the All Sides Weekend’s new segment of Chefs in the City this Friday at 11 am on 89.7 NPR News.

Appearing along with Dornback, is Katherine Moore, executive director of Dine Originals Columbus to talk about the Taste of Dine Originals on May 9 at Capital University.

The Chefs in the City segment will highlight All Sides Weekend’s monthly restaurant show.

During the first 20 minutes of the food show, host Marilyn Smith will talk with the brightest, the most accomplished and innovative chefs in the city – and throughout central Ohio.

Hidden away in an alley surrounded by houses in Columbus’ Victorian Village, Basi Italia is routinely named one of the top restaurants in Columbus. The restaurant offers fresh Italian cuisine in a cozy dining room. During the summer months, its patio is one of the popular dining spots in the city.

In addition, Rich Terapak, WOSU food critic, and Miriam Bowers-Abbot, restaurant reviewer for Columbus Underground, weigh in on restaurants throughout Central Ohio.
