Bike Columbus Promotes Bike Safety, Alternative Transportation

Last weekend, throngs of bike enthusiasts turned out for Bike Columbus, a series of riding tours to show support for bike-based living. The tours, including the Mayor’s Twilight Ride and The Steve Barbour Memorial Tour, also emphasized the importance of bike safety. (7 Photos)

Splashing Around At The Scioto Mile

The Scioto Mile opened to the public last week and now offers dining, entertainment and recreation along the Scioto River in downtown Columbus. Bicentennial Park, in the hub of the mile, will offer live music and movies throughout the summer. (9 Photos)

Scioto Mile Downtown Park Opens Tonight

The much anticipated opening of the Scioto Mile along the Columbus waterfront takes place tonight (July 7, 2011). Expect the sidewalks along the river to be full, the fountains to be lit and the new pavilion stage in Bicentennial Park to be brimming with entertainment for the next few days. (4 Photos)
