Bridges of Columbus in Black and White

The city of Columbus was founded in 1812 at the confluence of the Scioto and Olentangy Rivers. Like many Midwestern cities located on a riverfront, bridges are a central feature of the downtown skyline. Here are a number of the city’s bridges (new and old) in black and white. (9 photos)

Scioto Mile at Night

The Scioto Mile opened to the public last week and now offers dining, entertainment and recreation along the Scioto River in downtown Columbus. Bicentennial Park, in the hub of the mile, will offer live music and movies throughout the summer. (9 Photos)

Olentangy Trail at Fifth Street

Popular with runners and bikers, the Olentangy Trail runs along the Olentangy River from Worthington Hills (to the North) to Downtown.
