Short North Murals

| April 30, 2014 | 0 Comments

The series of murals dotting the Short North marks the second time in recent years that the urban arts district has installed large-scale public artwork on brick buildings to showcase young professional artists from the area. Eleven galleries and art institutions selected the artists and artwork for the popular temporary mural series, titled “Viewpoints: Murals by Young Professional Working Artists.” The murals, printed on vinyl and adhered to the exterior brick facades of 11 buildings along the High Street corridor, will be on view through March 2015. By showcasing and celebrating local artists, the Short North aims to remind visitors that it remains a vibrant hub of arts and culture in Central Ohio.
