Globe Trot is an international crowd-sourced dance film project. Mitchell Rose, professor of dance filmmaking at The Ohio State University teamed up with OSU choreographer Bebe Miller who developed a dance with steps simple enough for non-dancers to execute, and then embarked on a 15-month journey to find participants across the world. The effort culminated in a 3-minute dance film, with contributions from 54 filmmakers in 23 countries spread among all 7 continents. The aim: To illustrate the equality of humanity through the democratization of dance.
