Edith Head is one of the most recognizable names in film-fashion history. During her 60-year career she worked on more than 1,000 films and garnered 35 Academy Award nominations (winning 8).  She spent 43 years at Paramount Pictures where she designed many of the iconic costumes worn by some of Hollywood’s biggest actresses such as Barbara Stanwyck and Ginger Rogers.
