Columbus Cyclists Fix Their Own Rides at 3rd Hand Bike Co-op

| October 16, 2013 | 0 Comments

Want to make biking an everyday part of your life? Try getting started at 3rd Hand Bicycle, a local co-op that promotes cycling by providing the community with the facilities, tools, skills and knowledge to repair and maintain their own bicycles.

Overhead at 3rd Hand is minimal–the facility is entirely run by volunteers allowing as many Columbusites to access the tools and know-how they need as possible. 3rd Hand also offers a program where people can exchange volunteer hours at the shop for credit that can be put toward bike parts.
