Bruce Munro’s Fanciful Light Exhibit at Franklin Park Conservatory

| October 9, 2013 | 0 Comments

Bruce Munro first fell in love with light after a rainstorm in an Australian desert brought out a temporary explosion of life.

Ever since, Munro has been creating light-scapes — landscapes full of light with bulbs, pulses of color, even bright flashes like a lightning storm to try and mimic the desert spectacle. It’s an immersive experience that emanates and shimmers.

Find out how Franklin Park Conservatory’s gardens inspired the world-renowned artist to create new pieces. His latest installation is tailored to fit the Conservatory and will be the only showing of its kind.
