Artist Profile: April Sunami & the Psychewelic Exhibit

| February 5, 2014 | 1 Comment

The work of Columbus artist April Sunami generally includes the female form with a focus on head coverings and elaborate and ornamental hair themes, which she describes as an extension of the psyche and a representation of the spirit. Her work can be viewed along with several other artists at a new exhibit coming to Second Sight Studio this month in Franklinton.

Sunami shares with us her art, her process, and the meaning behind her self-coined term: Psychewelic.
