Aminah Robinson Mural — Revisited

| November 20, 2013 | 0 Comments

How do we preserve public art? In 2005, WOSU’s ArtZine documented the creation of a new mural based on Aminah Robinson’s textile work, “A Street Called Home.” Artist and CCAD painting professor Kristine Schramer and her team of students created the mural on the property of State Auto Insurance (the funder of the project) off East Broad Street.

In this segment, we revisit the creation of the mural and document professor Schramer’s efforts in 2012 and 2013 to repair normal weather damage to the artwork.
