Ohio State’s Dr. Douglas Scharre has developed a simple handwritten test that can catch the early signs of Alzheimer’s Disease or other memory-related illnesses. This test, which can be taken from the comfort of the patient’s own home, can help diagnose and treat the disease up to 3 or 4 years earlier than the average.
Doctors can even use the test to check the effects of new medication on the thought processes of a patient.
