Ashville 4th of July Celebration
June 30 – July 4

This five day event includes rides, a fish fry, a Miss 4th of July contest and live entertainment. Artists scheduled to perform include Sharp Circle, Ashley Everts Band, The Matt Enoch Band and Direct Energy. A fireworks display on the 4th will close out the festival. Red, White and Boom!

Red White and Boom is the largest Independence Day celebration in the central Ohio area. Highlights of this years event will include a Boom’s Got Talent competition, a Taste of Boom, live entertainment, a parade and the fireworks display. More information at redwhiteandboom.org.

Buckeye Lake Area Star Spangled Tradition “BLASST”

The annual fireworks celebration at Buckeye Lake which was renamed the BLASST in 2002 will feature fireworks over Buckeye Lake. Spectators are invited to light flares and luminaries at dusk as well as join in the singing of the national anthem at 9:55pm. With the Fireworks starting at 10:00pm. Deck the Hills – Its Christmas in July

This years event will feature a Christmas in July theme with Santa Claus scheduled to be the grand marshal of the parade. In addition to the parade there will be a firecracker trot, a neighborhood softball game, contests, midway games, and a fireworks display. More information at worthingtonhills.org.

Granville Fourth of July Celebration

This four day celebration will include a fireworks display (at Wildwood Park), a parade, a five mile race and Granville’s Got Talent open mic night. Activities will also include rides, live entertainment, concessions and games. More information at granvillekiwanisclub.org.

Reynoldsburg Independance Day Celebration

Blast at Beulah

This years’ Blast at Beulah will feature a ceremony to honor military veterans and active duty military men and women for their service. There will also be activities for children and live entertainment provided by Wally and the Beavs. Fireworks are expected to start around 10:00pm. More information at grovecityohio.gov.

Groveport Village Independence Day Festivities

The Groveport Village Independence Day festivities will feature a childrens parade and an Independance Parade, with fireworks scheduled to start at dusk. More information at groveport.org.

Freedom Celebration

This event will include games, food, fellowship, music and a fireworks display. More information at ccpc.us.

Bexley Fourth of July Celebration

The Bexley Fourth of July Celebration will include a 5k starting from Jeffrey Mansion. Also a parade, games and rides. The Celebration concludes with fireworks at Capital University. More information at bexley.org.

Star Spangled Soul Independence Day Celebration
July 4th

This event will include a fishing derby, a parade and the Skyhoundz Hyperflite Canine Frisbee Disc Championship. As well as a performance by Grammy Award winner Smokey Robinson followed by a fireworks display. More information at dublin.oh.us.

Clintonville July 4th Celebration

This event will include a community breakfast, a pet show and a fishing derby. Childrens activities will include a bike decorating contest and inflatable rides. Artists scheduled to perform include the Songbirds and Janet’s Planet. Fireworks are scheduled to follow the Janet’s Planet performance. More information at clintonvillefourthofjuly.com.

DooDah Parade

Now in its 28th year the DooDah Parade will once again make its way through the streets of the Short North. The DooDah Parade doesn’t permit commercial floats and gives its participants a chance to exercise their first amendment right through humor. More information at doodahparade.com.

Gahanna Freedom Festival

This event will feature games and activities for children. As well as live entertainment and a fireworks display. More information at gahanna.gov.

Hilliard 4th of July Celebration

Vendors and Rides are expected to set up in the park on July 2nd, with a parade, live entertainment and fireworks display scheduled for the fourth. This year’s fireworks display will be set to 80’s music. Artist scheduled to perform include The Reaganomics. With TV personality David McCreary scheduled to emcee Mondays events. Upper Arlington Independence Day Celebration

This event will feature a wake-up call to symbolize Paul Revere’s ride, a parade with contest for best float and a party in the park. Artists scheduled to perform include Shucking Bubba. A fireworks display will close out the evening. More information at uaca.org.

Glorious Fourth Independence Day Celebration

The Ohio Historical Center will host a 19th century themed Independence Day Celebration at the Ohio Village. Highlights for this celebration include a grand procession, patriotic speeches, an Ohio Muffins baseball game and a Community Dance. There will also be a performance by the Ohio Village Singers.
