Columbus Museum Recognized by IMLS

You’ve heard a lot about the recognition that our museum has received in the past few months.

Find out why our museum stands out from Executive Director Nannette Maciejunes and Education Director Cindy Foley.  It’s all about creativity.

Background:

The Columbus Museum of Art has redefined what it means to engage in the arts.  By focusing on creativity, the educators and arts specialists have formed a model for other museums to emulate and has given patrons meaningful and lasting experiences.

The Institute of Museum and Library Services has recognized CMA’s efforts by awarding them the 2013 National Medal for Museum and Library Service.  It is the nation’s highest honor conferred on museums and libraries for service to the community.
