Voices of Ohio’s African American Elders

In honor of Black History Month in Ohio, AARP Ohio has traveled the state, recording the stories, the wisdom and the experiences of African Americans in the 50-plus age range. They have produced a two-hour audio documentary of the project, called “Everyday People, Exceptional Lives.” On this hour of “All Sides,” we’ll talk about the project with its creators and one of its volunteers.

  • Samuel Gresham, Jr. (Executive Council Member, AARP Ohio)
  • Sanford Holmes (volunteer, AARP Ohio)
