    It is an extension of the Civil Rights Movement. 
    There is no logical reason, for our government, in any capacity, to regulate marriage. 
    The only thing would be to make sure that the people that want to get married, are of legal age.
    Any other reason is based on religion and prejudice which does not have any place in our government!
    In case anyone cares I am straight.
