The film Brother Outsider documents the life of March on Washington organizer and civil rights pioneer Bayard Rustin.

Bayard Rustin probably is best remembered as the organizer of the 1963 March on Washington. But he was nearly marginalized as the organizer and later silenced, threatened, arrested, beaten, imprisoned and fired from jobs because he also was an openly gay man. This hour we’ll talk about Rustin, and the documentary chronicling his remarkable life.
