Strategies for Fighting Prostitution

Columbus police are focusing on customers, or "johns," as a way to crack down on prostitution in the city.



Through nationwide partnerships, the FBI recently recovered 105 children around the US who had been forced into prostitution. Likewise looking to crack down on prostitution, the Columbus police announced a new focus: the customers. This hour we’ll learn how targeting “johns” can help clean up the city, and how a specialized court transforms former offenders.
