All Sides Weekend: Books

Play

11 am

The new world of e-readers has been great for those who want quick, inexpensive literature, but it’s been a mixed bag for small publishers. This hour we’ll talk to the CEO of a local publishing company about how he’s dealing with changing times, and the benefits of books you can flip through. We’ll also get the latest late summer recommendations from our critics.

Guests

  • Kassie Rose, WOSU book critic

The Shoe-Burinin – Stories of Southern Soul features short stories, poems and essays by 21 authors and has a CD that features some of Nashville’s best songwriters and local favorite, Cliff Cody. The group tours with authors and songwriters and create a reading by the author and music by the songwriters. They have not been to Ohio yet but we are hoping for a show here. http://www.riversedgemedia.com/the-shoe-burnin.html
