The U.S. goalkeeper, Tim Howard, did everything he could and made 16 key saves on Tuesday, but it wasn’t quite enough: the U.S. lost to Belgium 2-1 in extra time and is out of World Cup play. The World Cup did really well on TV in the U.S…Columbus had the second highest per capita viewership in the nation.

All of this talk of soccer fever keeps happening in the sports media. Do you think anyone fell in love with the game and will start following Chelsea or Everton or Manchester United?


The Blue Jackets have been busy this offseason with free-agency, trades and the draft… And one superstar for the Blue Jackets is in the middle of tense contract negotiations. What does this Columbus team look like compared to the one that made the playoffs just a couple months ago? We talk to Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch.
