‘Broad & High’ Premieres October 2 At 7:30 p.m. on WOSU TV
New Weekly Magazine Show Explores the Intersection of Arts and Culture

COLUMBUS, OHIO, SEPTEMBER 23, 2013 – “Broad & High” is the ultimate intersection of arts and culture in Columbus. This exciting, new weekly magazine show, created by the award-winning production team of WOSU Public Media, will have its local broadcast premiere on Wednesday, October 2 at 7:30 p.m. on WOSU TV.
“Broad & High,” hosted by homegrown talent Audrey Hasson, is a half-hour show that explores the place where diverse elements come together to make Columbus a city that nurtures artists and reveres innovative thinking in everyone. The series will have segments of national interest, but will focus on the character and creativity of Columbus.
The program was designed as an outlet for viewers to develop new perspectives on arts and culture in everyday life, an element that is important to the continued growth of a community.
Tom Rieland, General Manager of WOSU Public Media, explains the decision to produce a weekly program that reflects the vitality of Columbus: “This new weekly show is a major commitment to the arts and culture of our community, but it was easy to justify given the array of amazing artists, talent and stories that make this place special.”
Regular features of “Broad & High” include a calendar of local events, gallery openings and festivals; profiles of artists and their inspirations; and a recurring segment called “Hidden Talent” where local celebrities show their unique gifts.
