WOSU Public Media Services
A PBS member station, WOSU TV (simulcast on WPBO TV in Portsmouth) features award-winning children’s shows, public affairs, science, and nature as well as award-winning locally produced shows such as ArtZine, Columbus on the Record, and In the Know.
Over the air, WOSU TV can be seen on digital receivers at 34.0, WOSU-HD 34.1, WOSU-OHIO 34.2, WOSU-PLUS 34.3.

WOSU Digital TV
WOSU DT signed on in 2003 with central Ohio’s first full-power digital television signal. WOSU DTV currently includes:
WOSU HD (Time Warner 707; Insight 916; WOW! 205) provides full-time high-definition or digital widescreen programming featuring art, culture, nature, and more.
WOSU OHIO (Time Warner 96; Insight 190; WOW! 150) showcases programming from The Ohio Channel which includes live legislative and public affairs coverage the capital.
All Sides the Ann Fisher can also be seen live weekdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
WOSU PLUS (Time Warner 994; Insight 191; WOW! 153) delivers programming that is a delay of prime PBS programming and CREATE TV, a daytime how-to and lifestyle series.
WOSU On Demand. Watch your favorite WOSU documentaries and programs through the Time Warner Digital Cable Channel 1111.
Columbus Collaborative Programs
This unique model builds local partnerships to create programming of interest to the broader community. Examples that can be seen on Columbus Collaborative include the Columbus New Americans programming andOhio State University programming.
Big Ten Network Programming
WOSU is the producer of Ohio State University’s non-sports programming airing on the network. Program series include O-H-I-O.
WOSU is focused on a four-year, $1 million local programming and outreach effort focused on a TV documentary series, radio specials, an interactive website and storytelling days highlighting neighborhoods to celebrate Columbus’ 2012 bicentennial.
Digital television allows for datacasting that provides additional data within our digital signal, which may have a large impact on public safety and homeland security. WOSU is experimenting with datacasting in partnership with the Ohio Emergency Management Agency.
WOSU Radio includes FM stations WOSA Columbus; WOSB Marion; WOSE Coshocton; WOSP Portsmouth; and WOSV Mansfield and brings the central Ohio community the best of NPR News and Public Affairs and the finest in classical music. WOSU radio has over 140,000 listeners weekly.

WOSU Production Services
WOSU provides client production services including satellite uplinks and video/audio production services. Studios and facilities at WOSU@COSI and Fawcett Center are available for rental.
WOSU TV and its sister station WPBO TV provide educational programming, professional development, and direct services to schools.
The station’s Ready to Work initiative combine access to GED Connection and Workplace Essential Skills with distribution of related workbooks to help providers facilitate training of adults enrolled in adult basic education and workforce development programs.
WOSU’s Ross mediaLab is used for technology training for teachers and to incubate and create media in many forms for use across many platforms.
Airfare is our monthly program member guide, featuring WOSU’s broadcast schedules, special events and other articles about our programs and outreach.
The WOSU FYI e-newsletter is sent bi-weekly and covers our programming, special events, ticket giveaways, arts/culture and news/public affairs items. The newsletter goes out to over 12,000 individuals. Subscribe to WOSU’s enewsletters.
